Every day is an adventure at the Andamooka Observatory.
Join us on a guided tour of the opal fields, fossiking for opal, spotting native birds, wildlife and native wildflowers. Visit our local creatives at their studios, then head back to the observatory to enjoy uninteruppted views of vivid sunsets and the outback night sky.
We love dogs so much that we named our bar 'The Broccoli Bar' after Broccoli the adventure dog who joins us on tour most weeks.
Doggos are welcome on all parts of the adventures. They can especially join in lapping up a drink or two at the Broccoli Bar, enjoy some doggo snacks, take a nap in the shade of the verandah or chill out on the couches in the VIP Lounge where they can be petted by their parents and guests. We look forward to meeting you and your furry friends.

The Observatory at Andamooka is a great place to get a feeling of the town, the opal culture, and of course, look at the stars. Dogs are so welcome, they even named their byo meeting area 'The Broccoli Bar' after one of the towns intrepid canine explorers.
